COVID 19 Update

Care For the Whole Family:
Welcome back to Cypress Creek Dental. We are happy to announce that we have now resumed our regular business hours and are currently accepting new appointments. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we have made some changes to our operations. Read on to learn how we are working to keep our community safe during this time.

The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. Cypress Creek Dental has always prac-ticed stringent infection control and sterilization policies. Recently, we have made some changes to these policies in order to best keep our community safe during the COVID-19 outbreak. We are following the safety guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the American Dental Association, and the Texas Medical Board. We are currently taking the following steps in order to keep our patients and staff members as safe as possible:

Covid
Patient Screenings – We are screening all patients before their appointments, as well as when they arrive at the office, with a health questionnaire. Additionally, every staff member is screened each day before starting work.
Covid

Temperature checks – Upon arrival at the office, we take the temperature of every patient. Furthermore, we provide multiple hand-sanitizing stations throughout the office for our patient’s use.

Covid
HEPA Air Filters – We have purchased medical-grade HEPA air purifiers in the waiting room and in every treatment room, which purifies the air every 15 minutes.
Covid
Treatment Rooms – Our treatment rooms are protected with disposable barriers for surfaces and equipment, and thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each patient. During treatment, we use a state-of-the-art extra-oral aerosol suction machine, which eliminates aerosol in the treatment room.
Covid
PPE – Our staff is equipped with adequate personal protective equipment to protect themselves and the patient.
Covid
Overnight disinfection – At the end of the day before closing, we use a medical-grade disinfectant in a ULV fogger machine to spray the entire office with disinfectant. This disinfectant reaches every exposed surface in our office, ensuring that our office is disinfected and ready for the next day.
These policies are subject to change as we learn more about COVID-19 and how to best respond to it. We appreciate your patience as we implement these changes. We also appreciate your con-tinued respect and consideration as you visit our practice. When possible, we ask that patients adhere to social distancing guidelines and cover their noses and mouths while waiting in common areas. Together, we can make our office safer for everyone who visits.
